Lo que esto significa en la pr\u00e1ctica es que podemos rellenar nuestra piscina, usar m\u00e1s de 200 litros cada d\u00eda y relajarnos sabiendo que el agua del grifo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theolivepress.es\/spain-news\/2024\/04\/25\/drinking-water-supplies-are-guaranteed-for-the-next-five-years-in-spains-andalucia-following-series-of-downpours-in-march\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">no estar\u00e1 restringido este a\u00f1o<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"drought\">Sequ\u00eda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La sequ\u00eda es grave en Andaluc\u00eda y podemos ver los embalses fluyendo y bajando a medida que avanza el a\u00f1o. Ayer camin\u00e9 con los Mountain Nomads a trav\u00e9s de los bosques de pinos y hacia un territorio inexplorado al norte de Capileira. A unos 2.300 m sobre el nivel del mar, casi pod\u00eda distinguir las monta\u00f1as del Rif en Marruecos. Y es a los \u00e1rabes a quienes debemos agradecer el abundante verdor que cubre las faldas de Sierra Nevada y que abastece las fuentes de la Alhambra de Granada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre los siglos VIII y X, hace m\u00e1s de 1000 a\u00f1os, los \u00e1rabes poblaron Andaluc\u00eda y la convirtieron en lo que describieron como el Para\u00edso en la Tierra. El problema es que hoy en d\u00eda los j\u00f3venes tienden a abandonar los pueblos en busca de trabajos mejor remunerados en Granada y Madrid, por lo que los conocimientos y habilidades necesarios para mantenerlo se ven amenazados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"enter-capitalism\">Entra en el capitalismo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Paralelamente existen empresas depredadoras que pretenden embotellar el agua y venderla a todos y cada uno de ellos, as\u00ed como los invernaderos de la costa que consumen miles de galones al d\u00eda. Estas actividades son alentadas por pol\u00edticos de derecha que compiten por un lugar en el gobierno. Los humedales de la costa cerca de Almu\u00f1\u00e9car han sido sistem\u00e1ticamente socavados por los agricultores vecinos que perforan en busca de agua para alimentar los cultivos de aguacate, m\u00e1s rentables y hambrientos de agua, a expensas de los olivos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"government-intervention\">Intervenci\u00f3n gubernamental<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Parece que lo que se necesita es la intervenci\u00f3n del gobierno tanto para animar a las comunidades locales a continuar con el mantenimiento de la red de acequias moriscas como para impedir las iniciativas de agua embotellada y regular los invernaderos. Es un problema dif\u00edcil de resolver, los agricultores no ganan mucho dinero en Andaluc\u00eda y no podemos culparlos por intentar ganar m\u00e1s dinero con sus tierras, pero, por otro lado, los invernaderos que se extienden desde Motril al este hasta el parque nacional de Cabo de Gata son una obscenidad en el paisaje igual, si no superior, a los horrores de la Costa del Sol, donde la construcci\u00f3n aparentemente no regulada, ayudada e instigada por pol\u00edticos locales corruptos, destruy\u00f3 la costa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"photography\">Fotograf\u00eda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a1En este viaje viaj\u00e9 liviano!
