Use of affiliate links…

This is a personal website that exists primarily as a focus for my own photography and as a channel to share my hard-won knowledge!.

I use affiliate links as a way to help me support the running of this blog and create time to take more photographs. Or at least to have hot coffee in the morning!

Affiliate marketing is a widely used practice and some of the biggest brands on the planet use it. This includes the likes of Amazon. There are marketers that do this for a living and such people may occasionally promote products they don’t use. I am not one of those people.

If you click on one of these links and make a purchase, I may make a small commission.

I am very picky about the products I recommend because it’s my credibility that’s at risk if I promote any old nonsense. Everything I promote is either used regularly in the course of my professional work or extensively road-tested by me personally. I don’t encourage random vendors to contact me and If I believe that a product holds no value – I won’t recommend it.

With that in mind, you should assume that all links are affiliate links and do your own due diligence before making a purchase. What’s right for me, may not be the perfect solution for you.

It’s important to figure out what you want to achieve, this will make any purchase decisions far easier and if you want some friendly free advice, feel free to get in touch via the contact page, It would be a pleasure to help.
